Lufia II Boss Battle 8 - Gades Part 2

Part two of my battle against Gades atop the Gordovan tower. The strategy and description of the battle can be found on Part 1.

The only thing I have to say for this part is that the post-battle was pretty anti-climatic. I mean, we had just wiped the floor with Gades, and then he's all "Nooo! **** you!" And kills the party anyways.

Whatever, I got the uber-smexy Gades sword.

In retrospect, doing this has just made the rest of the game a whole lot easier. Not only am I reeeeeally over-leveled now, I am now in possession of Gades' sword and it's b-e-a-utiful IP, Octo-Strike. You'll see it's power in later battles, I'm sure.

Also, it's finally coming to light that Tia isn't as important as the rest of the party... that makes me sad D:

@SlaginnMetal247 It's one of the best in the game. There may be a stronger sword much later in the game, but this thing will carry you to the end if you want.

LOL!, you beat him and he jsut goes, dam how irritating *preses the I WIN button*. Why didn't he just do that at the start?

Because he likes to mess with you. I mean, he just wants to give you false hope, making you think you can beat him, then he just presses the I WIN button. Luckily, he can't use it later on when he gets his ass handed to him multiple times over :D

Yah Tia & Maxim were a good beginning pair, basically tried to recreate Lufia & Maxim's decendant how they acted in the beginning of Lufia I.

Yeah, as far as usefulness goes, there's no need to have both in the party, as Selan can do pretty much everything Tia can do, but better.

I still <3 Tia, though.
