  • Where did you get this solo from? And is it in bass clef?

  • this is the original cello version in tenor clef.

  • In tenor clef, the fourth line up is middle C (C4). The symbol resembles a double vertical line with a large number 3 next to it and the center of the "3" is positioned on the fourth line (in case you haven't seen it before).

  • there's one arranged by stephen mead for euphonium that's available in bass clef and works nicely on trombone, but that's not this version. Just google "stephen mead the swan" and you should find it no problem.
