Ohio Cooperative Solar (OCS) is an Evergreen company that owns and/or installs solar panels on institutional, government, and commercial buildings. OCS also provides weatherization services to make residential and commercial more energy efficient.
The Evergreen Cooperatives are aiming to bring jobs, and much more importantly, wealth, to some of Cleveland's hardest hit neighborhoods.
You retain ownership of the solar equipment and SELL free energy to institutions? There is something inherently dishonest about this, isn't there? Who, in their right mind, would PURCHASE free energy from you or any other vendor? If you install a collection device on my roof, I'll be happy to pay you for the installation and for the device. But the energy is FREE. It is not your PROPERTY to sell to me, month after month, in perpetuity. What kind of idiot would agee to such a contract?
