Around 5:30am a Mini Van crashed and landed on the lawn at 2440 Salisbury Road. Mini Van landed on the roof . The home owner at 2440 Salisbury Road told me " HE HEARD A HUGE NOISE AND CALLED 911,then a man came to the door to use his phone" The passenger was taken to hospital. District 11 RCMP and Salisbury Fire Dept responded to the call and Salisbury Road is blocked off from Lower Mountain Road to Upper Mountain Road. D.O.T. had to be used to block Salisbury Road at Upper Mountain Road. The Man that owns the property where the mini van landed said" thats a very dangerous corner and has seen a few fatal accidents since living there." I spoke to a RCMP at the scene and she did tell me it was a fatal accident and there would be a press release later today. Route 106 (Salisbury Road) Boundry Creek is about 5 miles west of Moncton that leads to the Village of Salisbury. The accident in under investigation and liquor is not ruled out as of yet. Roads were wet at time of the accident. Video Aired on Global News with Rebecca Lau. & CTV News with Kelland Sundahl & 2 Bon'heures TV Rogers & CBC News.

  • Miss you like crazy John nothing is the same without you here from your little cousin <3

  • I’m willing to bet speed and driver error wasn’t a factor, someone must have thrown a banana on the road and he drove over it. How unlucky is that?

  • heaven holds the faithful departed

  • RIP John

  • Third actually, there was one about 3 years ago exactly here but on the opposite side of the road. Almost the same thing, car flipped then hit a hydro pole. People seem to lose it on the turn then not recover from it.

  • RIP COUSIN JOHN!! love u and miss u!!

if anyone can find the URL to the new cast videos of this story can u please post thanks i cant seem to find them

  • john hebert

  • R.I.P Johnny u will b missed

  • That's the second fatality within a 1/2 kilometre in that area. This was on a straight stretch too. Don't know why this is such a bad spot that sees too many accidents.

  • You must have just missed us at the Upper Mountain Road...We had it blocked till the RCMP released us. RIP John!!
