Good comments below, both storie's are tragic in threir own way I personally find the boss's story tragic more even though I Big Boss's brings a tear or 2 to me to.
She could hav told Snake when they faught but she didn't she was loyal to her country and went down a criminal but was a hero and only B Boss knew n a few others.

@PurpleDolphiN42 Of course I know why she let her government piss on her. Because she felt guilty about not assassinating Von Neumann back in WW2. However, that doesnt make her interesting to me. At all. PW's attempt to make her story even more 'tragic' with yet more tales of how her government fucked her over was a little too much. I just find Big Boss to be far more engrossing, and fhis story far more tragic than that of The Boss.

But there was a reason The Boss let the government piss on her again and again. Don't you know anything? There is a lot of depth hidden in The Boss, it's because Big Boss couldn't understand her actions that made him embark on his journey for self discovery. The whole series is actually a man's quest for understanding, and it's quite beautiful to see how such an amazing character like The Boss had such an effect on Naked Snake.
