@jpete3027666 Anything that gives our life purpose is how we get our jollies. You can tell the rescueers that they should not be saved, let them die. Lobby for it. But then what about the people who get their jollies by saving those who put themselves in dangerous conditions? The world could be perfect, but would you want that, you would have no purpose. What do you think?

@jpete3027666 That is true, I completely agree. Everyone wants their jollies. The rescuers get their by sucking your tax dollars to save people who put themselves at risk. Police risk theirs to make people go slower. The reality is that all problems other than natural disasters are caused by and can be solved by human, but we don't want to. I worked as a Firefighter for a few years and if the fires did not happen, I would have had no purpose. Along with the rescuers. They want to do what theydo

You know I don't want to sound insensitive but you climb a mountain like this in the winter and there are extreme risks involved. And all of the effort and taxpayer $ that goes into searching for people who get lost, it's kind of selfish in my opinion. And rescuers risk their own lives in the search. Just so a few ultra risky personalities can get their jollies.

I can't remember what day it was, either the 9th or 10th, but one night we had the worst wind & thunderstorm going on here in Willamette Valley. Many in WA & OR lost electricity. I can only imagine what the climbers went through. And just last Friday, while heading south on 205 near Mall 205, out of the blue came snow and hail..10 minutes later we see clear blue sky. Really freaky weather this year..

Even if the dropped food, they couldnt eat it. The guys feel full if they even try to eat something they'll vomit.

Thank you for sharing this video. Those men were up there (or on their way up) some where at the time you filmed this and the weather conditions looked "OK" at this time. They did not realize a terrible storm was heading their way...

Yeah, it was really beautiful that morning as you can see!. My friends in Portland told me it was going to get worse, but you couldn't tell from the way things looked. I don't think anyone knew how bad it would get up on that mountain.

Well it looks like they found one of the climbers dead yesterday (Sunday) a week and 2 days after I filmed this. Prayers to the family.
