Really enjoyed this video. I am blessed to live at the top of these cliffs and love the peace and tranquility. It was great to see it from a climbers point of view. Hope the newpath never comes for the sake of the wildlife and birdlife. It is only as amazing as it is on the cliffs because they are so inaccessible to man, noise and litter. Some parts of our world should be left untouched, unpolluted and unspoilt just for nature.

Absolutely class! Fair play! probably my fav place on earth. havnt had the opportunity to get as far round the cliff though, the ropes are no longer there to help with the climb. I kind of would prefer if it isnt restored, i feel its like my wee private paradise, but i guess thats kinda selfish. I think Larne got the grant for it, but would close access to the public in favour of charging for guided tours.

The path was only partly closed after the war I read it wasn't fully closed until around 1962 the last major bridge collapsed into the sea during a storm in 1979.

I hope the council do restore the walkway. These climbers were very brave to tackle this. Where did the ladder lead to how far along the path is this bit?

we traversed for about 4 hours to the accident..then had to traverse about 4 back. Tiring. Would defo recommend it though - more exploring than sport climbing and a seriously fun day out....
