Just to set the record straight... balto was 100 percent siberian husky, no wolf. He was kind of a brownish auburn color with a white patch on his chest and on his feet. He, togo, and blackie were all heros. And balto WAS and still IS the coolest dog in history.
P.s. the first 2 movies were great

i have a balto! lol

Balto was a husky in real life and is a half wolf half dog in the movie.

I love the story of balto, though everything in the film isn't all accurate.. I mean he wasn't half wolf and other stuff... It's a shame to know that he died in new York instead of his home town

no he was half wolf

I read on the IMDB that Steele was originally going to be voiced by Brendan Fraser, who did record that part, but it was subsequently thrown away, and it went to Jim Cummings, so Steele was voiced by Cummings instead.

If you ask me, this was just the kind of movie that was never meant to have a sequel, let alone 2 of them.
