  • DAYOUNGFAB! I am Lao and don't think that we Lao people stole, never been stealing and never will steal anything from anyone. The last one we would be stealing from is Cambodia (Cambodians). As far as i know Laos and Cambodia have had a very close relationship and our people will always be close friends. As for the dance, many Southeast Asian ethnics shared and have similar cultures. If u were right, don't blame Lao dancers, but Vietnamese and their Lao puppet government in Vientiane.

  • Through out history Lao and Cambodia alway have close relationship...LAO and CAMBODIA = FAMILY. As Cambodia myself i have lots of lao friends, very close friends too.. Greeting from New Zealand.

  • @DAYOUNGFAB That's right Hmong and Mien people came from Cambodia or Khmer kingdom in the past. Please go back to school would you ?

  • Lao people dign't copy anything because khmer people teach it too us , compared to thai they we're hiding to see your dance .

  • need to get my dancing gear on;) beautiful!

  • @DAYOUNGFAB Laos and Khmer are like family,

so keep it that way. We Laos people never look

    down on Khmer.

  • @DAYOUNGFAB That was the past and yes Khmer civilization was so unique that some of its temples are found within Laos&&Thailand. But, the Khmer people threw all this behind them. We know that we once had the most powerful civilization in SouthEast Asia. And now theres some history to be remember. And the Khmer people don't care what other people/nations say about them. I, myself, being Lao, Thai, Cambodian, etc. is still proud. (Well, not Thai, I always hated my Thai side) cx

  • @xdoorkiee it matters, because the lao, and thai civilizations descended from the khmer civilization and now presently, most thais and laos bash khmers as being the scum of SEA, when they in turn are nothing more than cheap leeches

  • @DAYOUNGFAB First of all, the Khmer dancing ideas were borrowed from Southern India, hence the fact that Cambodia was once a Hindu nation. And yes, the Laos, Thai, and Vietnamese people did BORROW ideas. Khmer is the oldest civilization in SouthEast Asia. But like everyone said "Lao people and Khmer people have the closest relationship out of any Asian background." So basicly, it doesn't really matter. ;DD

  • WHAAAT?

    Lao + Khmer = forever!!!

  • There a province in southern Vietnam called Pa Lieu ( Bac Lieu). We Khmer Krom name it in honor of our Lao brother, That come help us during a war with the Viet. Today there are hundreds of beautyful modern Khmer temple in Pa Lieu (Lao). As we moving forward to the 21st century, We Khmer,Lao,Viet, and Thai need to live, learn, love, and respect each other. We gain nothing from being ignorant.

  • Khmer Brothers & Sisters dont listen to DAYOUNFAB hes only 19 years old, that makes him born in like what 1991. Ask the older Khmer people who was in the same refugee camps with the Lao people, they would say the Lao are family. Ask The Lao People who live in Cambodia, Strung Teng, in Battabong province the Khmers consider them like Khmer Lao people. I myself is Lao 34 years old and I consider the Khmers the only family in America more than any other Asians.
