Joss Stone is a kind, lovely, down to Earth British Woman. After 2 years of living in HGK with the Brit Expat community, I, a dreadlocked, black American acquired a bit of a Cockney accent. This talented young lady spent yrs working with Musos and of course she'd borrow Americanisms from some of the coolest people she'd ever met. I worked with people like Chaka Khan, Jeff Healy, Mr John Lee Hooker and Joss. Joss is a good person and a very talented British woman. Be happy for her success.

there's wannabees and true talent; Winehouse is the talent, period. Vocal gymnasts like stone are better of in the states, there are more 13 year old girls.........

Her "jokes" were pretty weak, but I don't see what the big deal is about her accent... Sounded British to me. It's not like she Changed her accent over night like that pretentious bitch madonna.
