Cataplexy from Laughter

Dancing in my dorm room, my friend hit her head accidently during the song "Hit Me Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears and I could hear her hand hit her head, I laughed so hard that I had an instant cataplexy (a sudden loss of muscle control due to an emotion) attack.

Awesomely hilarious video! I've been blessed w/ full blown narcolepsy&cataplexy for 24 years....broken both my ankles twice, had 2 concussions last year alone, but laughed my butt off thru it all! CATAPLECTICS RULE!! ;)

I love this! I have narcolepsy and so I have cataplexy and although cataplexy can be annoying (especially at inappropriate times like when I'm at school..) it's still really funny! When I was at school recently (luckily I wasn't in a lesson) it was that bad it was like my head was glued to the floor and I thought I was never going to get up! My friend was like "..what are you doing?!" but I was laughing so much I didn't care xD

and i also can't work or drive because of it but it doesnt stop me from enjoying life. theres always positives in a situation its all your attitude at least we're not dying!

I have cataplexy and MAYBE wouldn't change it if i could...yes its annoying but its shown me who really cares about me..have given me my funniest memories and makes me unique! Once I went to go see a little girl who i used to babysit and the first thnig she did when she saw me was plop down on her butt and start laughing and says I miss your funny faces! like om gosh how sweet. and now that my son is getting older because i have a good attitude about it he thinks its hilarious and isnt scared

@supchells yehhh i seriously have it.it kinda sucks though because i cant drive. i honestly wish i could change it . it gets really annoying. but yeah my friends think its funny as fuck because i always hit my head off the ground. haha. you should text bout it though. i havent talked to any1 about it who has it. 1716 860 8142

@iconografer ive only hit my head really hard on the ground.lol. i got put on pills to get rid of it and it worked but i had weird side affects so i stoped taking them

@fatalpolitics unless you slam your head on concrete...or break your arm falling down a set of stairs. both of which have happened to me. then it's not that funny.

@Webber529 do u seriously have cataplexy? My sister has it and I love that she has it, Iof course she doesnt mind that we laugh about it. I know its a serious condition, but I my sister said herself she wouldnt change it if she could and I wouldnt want her to change =]
