Elton John sang harmony on this track from Lennon's "Walls and Bridges" album in 1974. The hit single from this album was "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night" which of course featured Elton on vocals and keyboards.

  • John wrote that song for May Pang.., he should have married her.

  • This would have made a killer Beatles track. W&B is one of the best post Beatles albums. Listen to his fn voice. The best ever in RnR... .

Enooooorme temazo.

  • @the38thparallel He says sweet sweet bird.

  • People who are hard on May Pang need to realize that it was YOKO herself who wanted to toss John OUT but still stay "in control" so "offered" May to go with John to LA. Yoko figured that would keep John from finding another woman that she didn't know & couldn't exercise ANY control over. This 18 months or so of his life was called John's "Lost Weekend" Yoko was cool & calculating. And it paid off for her, even though it hurt May Pang. RIP John. <333

  • “sweet sweet love” is like “beep beep yeah.”

  • @12014fisher Yes, this as about May Pang. "Paradox" was the name of the NYC restaurant she worked at before she went to work for Allen Klein and later for John and Yoko.

  • What a beautiful song, for the first time this week I discored it. A genius always have some to show us.

  • great pics !
