Amadeus Paul Scofield as Salieri "The first encounter"

Salieri's first "encounter" with Mozart. A classic BBC radio adaptation of the National Theatre's 1979 production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. The same principals as in the world premiere at the National reprise their roles for radio, including Simon Callow, who played Schikanaeder in the subsequent Milos Forman film version.
