Digital Speed Meter with pic 16F628

The spare parts of my motorcycle's speed meter are discontinued, so I had to make one on my own.. The next step it to mount it and show the numbers in three 7-segment displays, which I know they're not visible at daylight but it will look great at night..

The ic555 simulates the pulses of a reed relay on the wheel and it's connected to the external interrupt pin. It takes eight bits: one for receiving the pulses and seven to drive the LCD or three multiplexed 7-segment displays (four bits to a 4511 and three to the displays' grounds..).
