What was your thinking on Southern Africa? In the real world, the Boer republics allied with Portugal to have an alternative access to the ocean. Since Portugal is part of the French empire, I can see how the French would claim the ZAR too, but the Boers would not give up their freedom easily. But then, would a multilingual empire like German-Britain not be more tolerant of Afrikaans, which would help avoid the Great Trek in the first place?

Brazil indeed was an Empire (with this flag), from 1822 to 1889, and was the 11th biggest empire of humankind.

@zell2929 Germany hated everyone because when they mordernized and unified as an empire, they lacked a colonial empire, whilst everyone else had one. So he pretty much hated England too. They would have stayed on their own, as always.

Portugal and Spain were the great in navigation all the new world (North, Central and South Americas) and great part of Asia would be under the control of the royal families from Portugal and Spain and its allys. My opinion.

@asdfomfglol You do realize that France and Germany hated each other and to a certain degree still do? And the fact that the protestant reformation started in Germany and Catholic Nations would have never allied with Protestants.
