I want to clarify; the grand prize for the contest was an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlanta to have the song professionally produced as a music video with multi-platinum hip hop producer Khao Cates. The scholarship award was secondary, and the same amount was provided to each of the other four teens who were runners-up. Since the Money Matters program was rolled out in 2004, Charles Schwab Foundation has provided approximately $390,000 in scholarship grants to our kids.
