In 2009, Kingston University's Vice-Chancellor, Sir Peter Scott used his wealth and influence, and that of the University, to press the Crown Prosecution to charge Dr. Howard Fredrics with harassment for having posted a whistleblower website that reveals proven wrongdoing by Kingston University officials.

David Burrowes, MP speaks before Parliament on the subject of this case and the wider issues of abuse of power by Britain's elite in the service of their "reputation."

What was the underlying reason for this unwarranted prosecution? Was it somehow connected with UK government policy on higher education?
