Excellent record of our ship. I was aboard about 5 years prior but the only thing that as changed is the crew. I really liked the slide show. Thank you Barry.

Correction: I was onboard from Aug 73 to Dec 73.......not 72.

Gee what memories! I was assinged to the Ponch in Aug 72 to Dec 72. We were readying for a WestPac but I broke my ankle bodysurfing @ Waimea Bay so was transferred to shore duty at the galley on Ford Is. consequently. Finished my enlistement there til June 75. How I wish I would have stayed in for 20! LOL Thanks for the post and memories! The Ponch looked the same in 72 as it did here in your video. CS3 Frank Martin
