The foreclosure crisis in Philadelphia is now becoming a matter of life and death. Eyewitness News has learned that in the past month, two homeowners took their own lives before sheriff's deputies arrived to tell them that they were being evicted.

  • It's tragic but I understand. If I were in that spot I'd do the same thing. It's in my nature to do so. Knowing that about myself has caused me to only buy a home that I can easily afford and pay extra on it every month to get rid of that debt as fast as possible. Now my modest home will be paid for by September. When that happens I'll be able to live comfortably on about 23% of my take-home pay. I know divorce would kill me too so I never married. With those measures I'm pretty safe.

  • @vention4wh now all you have to do is prepare for the collapse of the dollar! What a time to be alive heh?

  • Banks make money out of thin air (fractional reserve) and then collect interest or collateral on that loan of zero risk fictional money. People are dying because of the Fed's fiat currency and fractional reserve banking.

  • @yakyakyak69 excellent point, so true

"Banks make money out of thin air (fractional reserve) and then collect interest or collateral on that loan of zero risk fictional money. People are dying because of the Fed's fiat currency and fractional reserve banking."

  • The "recovery" is here... don't mind the 300,000 house holds forclosed on per month... mass lay offs, more and more homeless, on food stamps, welfare... no no no, this is a "recovery."

  • Don't forget about the $684 Trillion in OTC Derivatives!!!

  • maybe the bank can start giving out coupons to the local gun store

  • @AMERICAagogo That's honestly what I would do. They would get me in the end, but I would make it a very unhappy ending for lots of other people too. No suicide machine here!

  • @evilfreethinker they don't send the banker. he hides.

  • I was very angry about this video when I first saw it and have just been getting angrier by the minute. If you are a Sheriff or Policeman who serves an eviction notice on any household in This Country, At This Time in history, knowing full well that this "crisis" was plotted and manufactured, you don't deserve any respect and neither does the law. People don't have jobs and in many cases they were mislead about their mortgages. Remember where your money comes from. Someone has to make it!

  • It's not a crisis for the bankers.

  • What a sad country we live in!

  • And I love how the cops say they're "saddened". That word "saddened" is a word always used by reptilian pseudo-people who really couldn't care less about a tragedy. And what's worse, just like the bankers, I'll bet they were sporting tents in their pants both before they got to feel "the rush" of serving the eviction and especially AFTER they found the dead bodies of the homeowners.

America is a land now controlled by soulless vermin.

  • Bankers will be masturbating to this video. Homeowner suicide is banker porn.
