An introduction to creating your own agroforestry system by Permaculture teacher Michael Pilarski. This is the first of a series about a tour of projects in North Central Washington. Here Skeeter shows us how to get started creating a sustainable food production system that sequesters carbon and recycles nutrients.

  • This is a great look at the beginning stage. Love the vids I have seen of you and get so excited to see what you do!! (Just your herb production alone was an amazing vid to see)

  • "tying up a lot of carbon"...

Plants grow much better at CO2 levels far exceeding the current ppm, which everyone seems to be so worried about. Why would plants of evolved to benefit from higher CO2 levels, if higher CO2 levels are caused by Human industrial processes?!

If you're worried about the Earth, start using using natural methods to increase soil fertility, instead of adding chemicals.

Food forests are the future. What legume plants are you using?
