Damn, I'm surprised you didn't get swarmed by police here in this fucked up city. Back when I was a teenager I couldn't even walk across town at night without getting stopped for being "suspicious." I guess you are really close to the police station... and they mostly patrol the streets away from there. Hats off to you! (and I think I recognized that first lady hahahaha)

I do live in Boise. I did live in Nampa. The hippies converge around the university campus. And I don't know what you're talking about Nampa is full of goody Mormons trying to meet their conversion quota for the day. That sounds about right. I live in Boise, which isn't too bad, but the outlying towns like Nampa, Caldwell, Emmett are horrible. Full of redneck cops (like Brian Dennehy in Rambo), crankheads, hicks, and pedophiles. Pretty lame stuff.

you had to have gotten permission. i took a video of the fountain downtown nampa. as i was getting in my car a plain clothes detective and a cop hollered as i was getting in my car. HEY EXCUSE ME. then i was asked to give my drivers license. seems that by the fountain the police station is there. they thought i was scoping their precious building. stupid homeland security.
