@liamjd1 Since The Simpsons are animated and no life action, every sound-version is dubbed, and I can tell that the German voices are better and funnier, knowing both German and English.

@PresidentScrooge well im british actually, and it is an american show, i just think that's how the simpsons was intended to sound, nothing to do with 'being the centre of the planet.' I'm not hating on it, I speak german, my point is that dubs are always just an afterthought, if i'm watching something in another language i would always prefer subtitles.

@Kakarott84 gab es damals aber auch nich oft, jetz siehst du nur alle alten folgen und fidest schnell was geiles. die neuen folgen kommen nur allmählig so ist es natürlich schwerer was geiles der art zu finden

lol i don't understand how people watch dubbed anything.. especially the simpsons, half the comedy comes from the excellent voice acting.

Your proposal would work against the concept of internationalization. internationalization is the process of making international products like the simpson available for all kinds of audience, including german viewers. Dubbing makes it easier to watch and access, hence supporting internationalization.
