So then she gets bit, what is the difference between getting bit by a dog or cat or lizard? Other than the "accepted" pets have bigger and sharper teeth? Morons like you make people with at least half a mind cringe.

lol. yah- one of the things always left unsaid is that an animal needs a reason to bite someone, too.

Aww what a great set of video's you have. I would love a savannah monitor but I don't think I'd have enough room for his housing.

technically, the answer is yes. i have one i am now using in the bathroom as an ordinary light and one in an unopened package.
the savs chose their heated bed over basking lights.
we live in a rainforest, so they see no sun for 9 months of the year, either, and only Buzzy enjoys outdoors.
in the house, most of their activity occurs during non-daylight times, too.

Buzzy is the only one who really likes going out of doors, so he's the only one who meets other critters. He's interested in dogs and children but will sometimes haul his sack over to sniff a grownup.
he is wary of anyting that flies overhead, especially helicpters and eagles. he's almost used to the crows. oh- and he hates double strollers- he perceives them as an affront that needs to be challenged and driven away. or it might have been just not his best day for 2 headed babies.
