The butterfly style is smarter, more efficient goaltending. That's why the vast, vast majority of goalies in the major junior and professional ranks use it.

funny because brodeur is a few wins shy of breaking roy record for most wins and a few shut outs shy of breaking Terry Sawchuck's record for most shut outs in an NHL career. Brodeur is about to own the Goalie record books, and last time I checked Tim Thomas and the Boston Bruins have the most wins in the Eastern Conference.

yea tim thomas put on a nice show at the all star skills tonight, but the most functional and the style that gets the most wins and save% is butterfly.

Butterfly = boring
Especially with the gigantic pads. Brodeur is one of the few remaining goalies that is actually entertaining. Tim Thomas is another.
