  • Apparently the alpha testers are happy with it, which is wonderful. But let's be honest - first time you hear it, it's pretty ridiculous. Actually I'm looking forward to try it, but it's really odd (never saw something like that before). Weird stuff for sure. It just got announced along with other "negative" news, putting it in an even worse light. But like TB said, it might turn out to be really really good. What it obviously is according to alpha testers.

    Molay

  • Bye bye Gamestop.

  • I wish all pc games used steam :(it makes everything so hard using like 5 providers..

  • DC universe is a very balanced action oriented game(As Tb knows) and is balanced in terms of weapon styles and powers, though jumping around wont stop people form hitting you, as opossed to Age of Conan, where Melee classes like the herald of Xotli and the Dark Templar will have trouble against classes like the Necromancer or the Demonologist who will kite you around all day and avoid your combos, which is very unbalanced, and a reason why Conan is called Age of vasters jokingly :o)

  • good morning its not the morning!!!!!!!

  • Looks like BF3 won out. The browser based menu is by far better than an ingame one.

  • Sounds like less work for the developer.

Also sounds like 100% crack protection.

And also... an other example of the good old "if the server is gone, the whole game becomes useless"

  • singularity is a brilliant game

  • @SteevanoTheCommando dammit why must I reveal master plan to everybody. note to self (must destroy moon with bomb in shirt)

  • @Majicthize ya but tb makes a good point why do we need this? no campaign if you don't have internet. we just have to trust ea? that's a dumb idea

  • The battlelog works as a way of DRM by forcing you to log in each time you want to play the game.

The reason why EA/Activision are doing things like these is because they know COD/BF3 will be big hits and are trying to think of ways to retain control for future game releases. With MW2 it was priced u$60 and now a lot of PC games are priced that as well because it sold. With BF3's battlelog you can expect to see more of these bizarre website menus once it sells well.

  • Most people who work at Gamestop are assholes...
