All the animations take extreeemely long in this game. In Spirit Caller I'd be able to summon and monster and set at least two Spell/Trap cards in the time it takes that game to move from the Draw Phase to the Standby Phase. Also, is there an option to turn off the animations of the opponent when they are making their moves? Having them animate their every move would incredibly slow down an already slow system.

You could set the Life Point to 4000, 2000, 12000, or even 16000. But that can only be done by "Free Duel" or it may happen when one of the characters e-mails you to a duel.
