Legendary short-lived Oasis parody from 2002. Highlights from some fun shows, including a San Diego Beatles convention where we were cut short and a packed LA Knitting Factory show opening for Smiths coverband the Sweet & Tender Hooligans in front of 600 screaming Latinos. Whether it was Liam quitting the band and taking over the lights and soundboard while Noel tried to sing "Don't 'Let It Be' In Anger" or revealing that their singer had been wearing a Blur t-shirt under his jacket the entire set, there's no other way anyone could ever touch the Wankers (except for the piss poor accents). If any smart UK promoters want to get us a reunion tour, get a hold of us (e-mail is "adamg" not "adam" like in the video, fookin spammers). More info at http://www.covermebadd.com and http://myspace.com/covermebadd. We're currently doing an all-guitar Depeche Mode act called the Blasphemous Guitars. Yes we know tribute bands are usually for folks without a creative bone in their body but we ain't no tribute band and the singer of this ever-changing act has a very good group of his own, ya c*nt. http://www.rookiecardthemovie.com

  • anybody know who that Morrissey impersonator is, I nearly spat out my tea that was truly funny

  • That's Jose Maldonado, singer for LA based Smiths tribute, the Sweet & Tender Hooligans. He's pretty dead on and has enough sense of humor to dig our act (rare for tribute bands).

  • but why the fuck would you do it if this is your sense of humour then you need shot only you fat yanks would find this funny so you are officially a prick

  • Me loves that 2 Brits commented that they loved it the same day you did. Twat. xo, Liam

  • Just read Klosterman's Oasis article on Grantland and I immediately had the urge to find this. So '90s rad.

  • manc accent isn't here ... (or a parody)

  • 2:26 what a cunt!

  • hahhah "i'm tellin mom!"

  • Oh My God.

I love all the bands parodied here but that was bloody brilliant.

The Morrissey and Blur one was so funny.

And I'm a brit with a sense of humour.

  • These silly yanks do irony almost as badly as their attempts at english accents....they sound utterly awful

  • Actually we say "lataaaaz" in London ourselves So I do know wot it means (i didn't even know u said that up north). We don't say corkney tho. We say say cockney, mate.

  • He's got his accents a bit muddled, sometimes he says fookin, but sometimes he sounds well cockney, i.e. when he yells "shu'up" at 2:24. That at least came close tho i gotta say lol.

  • CoRkney?
