@Rotionpotion Dude, Edo period was from mid 1600's to late 1868, so 1860 was a fine estimate, especially considering the other episodes, like the one with the food eating contest and that westerner, however I realize now that if it was after 1860 they couldn't carry swords, so taking into account that Fuu's dad was a part of the shimabara revolution, a good estimate is 1650 give or take 10 years.

@seedevil I was off, it would have had to take place before the 1860's because they could still carry swords, but there was also an episode with the girls being shipped to the west, and they mentioned Fuu's dad was part of the Shimabara revolution, so a better time period estimate is 1650, 20 years after the shimabara revolution.
