@NN2Blue It's possible there may have been a temporary one some while ago, but certainly the sharper curves at Weedon, which for many a year was 80 MPH and raised in the 80's to 100MPH are now 100/EPS110(Voyager)/EPS120(Pen
do). -
The last shot was the pre-pretendolino set

1:38 lol

Wow. I thought you use a tripod. My camera is very small and lightweight. It is a JVC Everio GZ-MG630. I cannot do monopod. I need a tripod. But the good ones (like Manfrotto) costs at least $200 to $300. I cannot afford that.

It's 90 MPH on the reverse curves at Bugbrooke. The Fiat Pendolinos are designed to run up to 140 MPH but have a maximum of 125 MPH elsewhere on the WCML.
I like this spot - you can reach out and touch the trains! LOL - Mike

@NN2Blue Sorry to steal your thunder but the line speed at this location is actually 110/EPS125 MPH, so your comparison with the narrow boat is more likely to be 106/121 MPH.

Please, I'm happy to be corrected! I did see it written somewhere in the past that the reverse curves at Bugbrooke were subject to a 90 MPH limit. Possibly pre-WCML upgrade. Doesn't feel like 125MPH when you stand at the bridge at Bugbrooke within touching distance, it feels a lot less. - Mike
