Can these strings tune from 1/2 to drop A with everything in between?

@wwetnajeffhardy12345, I use them for D standard and Drop C, which I think they're perfect for. They can probably do 2 steps (C) down, but don't know how well that would go. Anything lower I wouldn't use them.

is it neccesary to have an active guitar to get the blackout pickups? and also, do I need to change both pickups or can I change just the bridge?
Torqueofficial 9 months ago
@Torqueofficial, active guitar? What do you mean?
You CAN change just the bridge, but if you have 2 pickups it's recommended to change both so you don't have to deal with a wire mess.

@EnsiGeetard I have an ibanez 370dx, it has a neck pu, middle pu and a bridge pu... so I was wondering if I can just change the bridge pickup for a blackout. 'cause I want to get a more metal tone

@Torqueofficial, to be honest, I wouldn't change it if you already have passive pickups. If you want to change your sound, I'd rather save up for a nice kickass tube amp! :)
