  • ok so i found one in the basement it was an adult. I felt bad for the dude since i pulled the insulation and boom on the floor is a bat!!!!!! It didn't move but was alive so i did the cool thing and let him go. My question is can they hurt me?

  • @paszdevil1 most definitly, there wings which pose a great resemblance to human hands have a thumb in which they grab branches etc, and they do have claws that are very sharp and can hurt you. it is not recomended to handle bats without inoculation, as they do carry lyssavirus, which feeds off its hosts brain and is passed via the bats saliva and claws, to find out if the bat has the virus, the vet must kill the bat and open the brain to check whether or not it has the virus.

  • @paszdevil1 careers must get a $300 inoculation which prevents the virus from entering human blood stream. Other breeds of bats from america can carry rabies...

  • best thing for your bat is to get her to a professional Bat carer person so she can grow to be a healthy happy bat.

  • @DevilButtKicker what do u think we do then huh?

  • @31668999 just trying to help your bat no need to get all mad.

  • @DevilButtKicker we are wildlife carrers and we do care for orphaned bats, this bat by the way was with 3 others that we cared for, and they went to creish were they learn basically how to be bats and then the get released. please dont judge what you dont know.

  • @31668999 chill the fuck out.. never did you indicate you were professionals.. so if you dont want to be judged.. especially on the internet... include more information.

  • @31668999 That is good you take care of the bats...but it is kind of hard to know you are professionals or been trained or know what you are doing when there is nothing indicating that in the description box. Nothing like...We are trained professionals...or anything of that sort...

  • ahhhh! i scream when i saw this!.......because its soooo cute! ^.^ lol

  • @31668999 Lawl. Animal "carrers"... I can only assume that means CARETAKERS?

  • Aww! it's so adorable!! I want one...! :D

  • Since when is "Bat carer person" a profession? It's not rocket science to read up a little about bats' diet, care, what to look out for etc.

  • Cool

  • I just don't understand, domestic cat's and dog's were wild animals to before we took them in and make them domestic, there are many many animals we have taken in as pets and found out they make good pets, that list is endless, all animals start out in the wild and some are made pets, and lot's can be domesticated, instead of judging others for having a wild pet look at your pets, find out where there roots came from and think about it.

  • @DRGmeepie It is.
