  • This version is really special - so fluent and assured yet with a true feeling for this difficult piece!

  • Very lovely!

  • "..plays it like a good student"...don't you just hate that type of condescending tripe from some. I have listened to Tore Bermeja for over 40 years..this version by Akiko was well played and some nice passages arranged differently from the Ragosnig and executed very well. And .....and she looks absolutely stunning.. does that matter..no....but check out her Catalan/Llobet pieces.

  • whys there even an unlike button on this page

She is wonderful but she only plays it like a good student. Not only the brittle tone but this piece has many dynamic modulations that are not present in her interpretation.I'm learning this piece my self and I watched all the YouTube torre bermejas and I thing maestro Asimakopoulos's interpretation setting the standard with an old Segovia recording coming close second.

  • she plays it extremely well but the tone is lacking some how. I'm not sure if it's the recording, the guitar, or her nails but it doesn't have the usual warmth i expect from this peice.

  • Outstanding! Those who understand classic guitar and this highly challenging theme can clearly see her amazing endurance (keeping the performance quality all the way) along with her refined caress by which the music flows from her fingers to the strings. That’s what I love about YouTube: You can reach such brilliant musician without the block from so many “bit shots” and mediocre and well-connected performers. She is a Ph.D. without any doubt and a great one.

  • wow! such feeling!

  • ¡Thanks Akiko Saito!, ¡Wandefully played!

  • What guitar she uses.

    Any one tells me .

  • great 5*****, patrick
