Rottweilers are very vocal, expressive dogs. Though not given to nuisance barking, some do vocalize and it can quite often surprise a novice owner. One might wonder if the growling Rottweiler really menacing you or is he just expressing his pleasure at a vigorous scratch of an itchy spot. Many people do not know that Rottweilers often rumble in pleasure or play my dog is very gurmbly i could say, see my other videos.

  • Love when a Rottie Grumbles :) I have a talker/grumbler. My Boy Austin will be 12 year this year and he is an extremely vocal boy as well. You can tell from your dogs body language it is so not aggression and in no way does it even sound like a growl! He is grumbling. LOL People out here on the internet are funny. They just don't get it. It isn't their fault. They just don't know nor do some of them choose to open their mind to some education about our breed. Their Loss. :)

  • @KissSanityGoodbye - After viewing some of the other videos as you suggested. I too have some concern for this Rottie and more ?'s. He is being taught by his pet human, his obvious insubordinate. (and I say this because in some of the videos it does appear that the dog IS in charge) and then being praised for it by the weaker of the two. Very mixed messages to give and teach a Rottweiler. While it may have started in good fun it may not end that way. I am glad this person is not my neighbor.

  • @gunnerdogify ಠ_ಠ Don't even.

  • @langevinrox how many rottweilers have you raised

  • You need to seek mental aid if you think all the dog is doing is a friendly 'grumble'. He may not be acting on it, but eventually ...

  • @rottaholic we actually do get it. most of the grumbling in this video sounds nice. but in the other videos the dog is clearly not amused and challenging his owner. it's not a grumble anymore...it's a growl...and a very pissed-off one at that. watch the other videos...you will hear the difference.

  • STOP putting your face there man!It growls , do you want the rottie to bite you ???In all your videos , your rottweiler growls to you with anger! You must deal with it , you must accept the fact that you need to train it properly. Its not something bad , by training you will become better owner.

  • Most stereotypical people would freak but like you said they are very vocal.
