Mariella had a recipe she claimed could make the lowly Bluefish taste good. (If you've ever tried it, this is a bold claim!) She cooked "Pesce e Patate," an Italian recipe she learned from her Sicilian father. The result: delicious Bluefish!! Wow!

  • I have a great dish using Blue fish. And it is made by Pyrex.... LOL

    Wait wait wait.

I have a recipe for fantastic blues First take a aged oak board soaked in 100 year old red wine. Then preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place the fish on the board and bake for 4 hours. Take the fish off and throw away the fish and eat the board. I promise it will taste better than that fish will on it's best day!

  • I am cooking this tonight for dinner! I can't wait! Everything is from my garden too and I caught the fish myself. Man this is going to be satisfying!!

    thanks for sharing the recipe!!

  • I know a very good way. Take your blue fish and put it out on a plate. Next Take 2 eggs and crack them and scramble them with some geavy cream. Then make a plate with flour, pepper, salt, and blackened red fish seasoning (what i used) and mix those. Dip the blue fish fillets in egg and then cover it with flour (both sides). After get a pan with canola oil let that heat up and when its ready put the fish in and cook it 4:30 seconds or more or less depending on the size. thats my recipe
