Yea, it's from 1993. Get your shit straight and you don't need to download any .dll files to run it on vista. Just get one of the many free port engines that makes your doom experience ten times better then this on modern pc's. (e.g. ZDaemon, zDoom, Skulltag, Doomsday, GZdoom, etc.)

Thanks man, this really helped me out. But I got a few problems and was wondering if you could help me. I tried changing up some of the controls and it wouldn't stay, and I did apply them. Another thing is that I tried changing it to a windows screen instead of a full screen, that didn't stay either. Help me out.

Get Jdoom it makes the monsters and weapons and items 3d and gives better lighting etc.
