    The Sonics were really ahead of their time. Their songs sound very late 70s/early 80s punk, but they were made in the mid-60s.

    First time I heard this I could have sworn it had been recorded in the late 70's instead of 1965. These guys were garage rock pushed to the edge of punk...years before punk existed. AWESOME! ...some folks like water, some folks like wine, but I like the taste of straight strychnine!
