Fuck no, they do the opposite. They dont care about doing good to the environment. They are there to feel good about themselves.

They mix so much bullshit in with the actual science that environmentalism is harder to take seriously.

They protest solutions for many of our problems, like nuclear power and GMO.

Real environmentalism is employing practical solutions, and willing to get your hands dirty.
