  • No Way! I can't believe I found this on YouTube! I am the blonde chick singing in the house band! So fun to see this. What fun memories. It was crazy because you'd think after spending 9 million dollars on a stage, ELCA would have given the house band in-ear monitors. We only had 3 crappy floor speakers. We couldn't hear ourselves at all up there! lol. Thanks for posting!

  • You're never to old. Haha

I was to old to go with my church and to young to chaperone. (sp? haha)

Apply to be a volunteer, it's a long application but TOTALLY worth it. I was able to go to New Orleans as a Servant Companion. It was awesome, and incredible. I had the time of my life and met so many amazing people. You should totally apply for the next one, I can't wait!

  • just got back from the 2009 one they were great but they play a little too much

  • Yeah the next one is next month. In New Orleans, I'm so excited!! :)

  • I am, but I think I'm too old to go now.

  • i had a great time, looking forward to 2009? i believe the next one is

  • have to disagree since the messages they tried to send this year sucked a lot compared to atlanta. my group greatly enjoyed the band

  • Agreed... this sounded WAY better there!

  • my only problem with the house band was that they seemed too obsessed with performing to realize that we weren't there for a performance, but a worship service.

they were good, but it wasn't about them, it was about God... and they seemed to miss that point. i felt that they were all wannabe pop-stars
