Fantastic clip. I was on the train. I agree with the comments about the sound of a Deltic in the distance. It was like that on the train. Even though we were 8 coaches back from 55022 you could still hear those twin Napier Deltic engines throbbing and howling away, even with the carriage windows shut. It was well worth the frostbite just to hang out the door window and listen to the awesome symphony. This clip reminds me of my days watching Deltics climbing Christon Bank in Northumberland.

superb vid awsome sound just like i rember from the 70s you could here that sound for 2 to 3 mins and did not know from what direction the deltic would appear , tell me though can you hear like a rattle on this vid ( iv heard it on a couple of vids lately ) as if summit was lose on 22 just as she approaches the bridge , sounds like a spanner left somewhere and rattling as shes movin, or is it just me, thanks awsome capture
