Tempo di Valse from the Violin Concerto by Anton Arensky arranged for violin and piano by Jascha Heifetz, performed by violinist, Nate Robinson.

The violin was made by Phillip Injeian in 2004. It is strung with Tricolore wound gut G, plain unwound gut D&A, and steel Goldbrokat E - the same string combination used by Jascha Heifetz and my teacher Erick Friedman (in the 1960's).

  • Holy cow, Nate! I'm struggling to find the right words. Masterful playing, but actually, I'm used to that from you. What interests me is tone, and your tone production has come from excellent to absolutely spectacular. Chills from the top of my head down to my toes! Perfect, flawless, exceptional! I don't deserve to be, but I'm just so proud to know you! I've said it before...the world is your oyster :)

  • You is great, have a lovely style, congratulations.

  • Absolutely brilliant playing. You sound amazing.

  • Delightful!

  • That was beautiful, Nate.

  • Great.

  • Excellent! Superbly played, and a nice piece too :)
