Many thanks to the guys from Shark Shield in Adelaide who provided this custom unit. In March 2007 we crossed Bass Strait by Sea Kayak, and the shark shield provided both protection and peace of mind during our 9 days at sea.

  • Charge is stored in the battery so it can be used overnight. I charge my MP3, video cameras etc over night, and then let the main battery re-charge during the day form the solar panel

  • hi, nice setup! Did sharkshield customise your unit for 12v instead of 18v operation?. You don't mention any 12 - 18v

converter in the setup. Regards. Kenn.
