I explore the dark history and supernatural life that gives Picton its reputation as the most haunted town in the country. For thirteen years it has attracted tourists, skeptics, ghost hunters and psychic mediums since the Picton Ghost Tours were started by a local historian Elizabeth Vincent who unfortunately passed away in 2009. From the Redback Range Tunnel to the Antill Park Golf Club the Picton Ghost Hunts ventures almost all of the town's haunted hot spots and barely a tour goes by where something paranormal is not experienced. Having been on the tour myself and visited these hot spots on my own I've had my own confrontation with experiences that cannot be explained logically. This documentary is completely non fictional. It depicts real people, locations and historical events, nothing is staged or fabricated including footage and photography. Unfortunately for you paranormal evidence junkies I didn't manage to film any ghosts in the act, however I can honestly say that the photo's in this documentary are real and half of them you will see were taken while I was filming. Also during the Danielle Formosa interview you can hear under the music shuffling about, footsteps and banging, it took place in the Shire Hall after one of the tours in which there were three of us in the hall around midnight, all sitting at the same table while the rest of the hall was locked up and vacated and these sounds were coming from inside. For the record I was not particularly happy about this as it caused major sound recording problems and I never got a clean recording of Formosa's dialogue. If this documentary is well enough received by viewers I might try and capture more footage and make a longer edit as I only explored half of the towns haunted hot spots but for now I have some other projects I'm currently working on.

@chilltree Well I apologize about that. To be honest I don't like it either. I recorded it in a rush the day I did my "Battle of Yonkers" video while I had the P2 Camera and the Wendt sound mixer so I still had a bit of an American accent on. I tried to record the voice over again but after my own camera broke I never got the chance to get a clean recording. I'd rather have just used someone else if I had someone else, it's just the whole project was in a rush to get finished.

Where did you get the music at 1:00
MarvinDanielFilms 1 year ago
@MarvinDanielFilms It's from "The Ring/The Ring 2" soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer, Henning Lohner and Martin Tillman, the track is called "The Well. That snippet I used at 1:00 for the opening title is towards the end of the track.
