At the release of Together Alone, Crowded House appeared on Much Music's Intimate and Interactive performing and taking questions. Once of my favorite performances. See all 13 clips.

In 1995 or so, I traded a Daniel Ash solo CD, 5 blank VCR tapes, and postage for 10 hours of Crowded House video. I couldn't tell you the name of the person who did it, but it was quite a score for me.

Some of it is pretty common, some of it obscure. I'm posting all the non-commercially available stuff. It is quite a project but another CH fan did me a favor 14 years ago and it is my turn to repay the favor. Watch all the videos and if you are a fan enjoy! PLEASE COMMENT, RATE, and SUBSCRIBE. Nah, I just think given the whole body of his work and our cultural inheritance, it's a convergence. Both explanations are true. He just explained the obvious one to him ... and the easiest one. Trying to explain Christian metaphor to that chick would be a real task, no?! In any event, great art is never fully explicable and as Picasso said "art is a lie leading to the truth" anyway. :) Or something like that.

I have to agree with Leanda - how could this great song NOT be Christian symbolism? Maybe he was fending off that annoying girl - I can see Leanda's other point about defense of sales but the Finn brothers needn't worry that they will be taken anything but the great artists they are. it is a christian reference and him being cathlolic - i dont know why he says its not . most of his songs have subtle religion in them. why do i play these over over . not to find a msg in any of them but i know how the FB songs were influenced by their upbringing..any denial is said in defence for sales of course. no not really they write songs for pleasure not money.u have done a justice to CH fans with yr vids .they are all very good. best trade and score u ever got.
