Listening to JayZ earlier interviews, such has this one, it shows that he is a very smart man. He seems very down to earth, aware of the rap game and that you have to venture out into other investments in order to financially succeed.

ITS BUSINESS! You don't get rich making sure that everyone you WERE involved with is always happy. They're not blood, so FUCK EM cuz at the end of the day they'll do YOU. Most successful businessmen and women are CUT THROAT which is how they get to the top. He cant keep feedin niggas. They say hes wrong cuz he dropped artists from his label, but people do that ALL THE TIME! It needed to be done or else it may have messed with his revenue.
