  • Whoa, that was an amazing yoda impression.

  • Thanks smallmaniac. I also do a killer Fozzie Bear and Kermit the Frog as well.

Maybe I'll work them in somewhere.

  • Comic books will never die because there are artists out there. And artists will never go away. NEVER.

  • Guys the internet is a feasable option but look at this from a LCS point of view....

No shop owner is going to make an effor to order from anything other than PREVIEWS period. ANything thats not in there doesnt make a shop consistant $.

INDIES as a whole are not reliable for a LCS to make an effort to obtain.

IF ther was 1 book equivilant to previews that had INDIES only then yes it would be possible. But until then EVERYONE not in previews is F**KED

  • I was just looking thru Preview tonight actually to add or cancel titles from my standing order and theres so few actual 22 or so page comic books from indies now.

Everything is trades or graphic novels now and its hard to commit to an indy and lay out 10 or 20 euros for a GN as opposed to trying out a single issue for 4 euros and then deciding whether to stick with that creator or try something else.

  • The thing about an artist or company only selling online is that they have to reach the people.

With the previews catalog I've got 350 or so pages of comics to choose from all in one place, the internet is so fragmented that gets difficult.

Perhaps if the indies had an online distributor like Amazon just for indy books it might work.

  • Yoda can bite me!
