Hope for Manhattan Kansas Kids, KO Boxing's 4th annual FIGHT FOR CHARITY
U.S. Army's Tony fought well but came up just a little short on the judges score cards. A last minute opponent change and a higher 180 weight class "Tony fights normally at 165 to 168" may have had some effect but his new opponent, Oliver Rivera, from Frank's Gym in Grand Rapids, Nebraska proved to be a very tough cookie. Tony's original opponent was an 18 fight Air Force amateur named Daniel Logan from Tinker Air Force and the Sim's Boxing Soldiers in Oklahoma City. The Golden Gloves people would not sanction the fight because of the fight total difference. Tony has only had 6 amateur fights.
