This is a cool looking space station from the 1968 movie Voyage To The Planet Of Prehistoric Women. It is a sequel to Voyage To The Prehistoric Planet. In this movie, a team of space explorers land on a planet that is inhabited by beautiful and scantily clad (for that time) women. Not only are the women primative (no huts. Even Gilligan had a hut!), but they worship a living pterodactyl. If you watch the two movies in order, you can easily tell that a lot of footage was recycled from the original movie. It was like a weird flash back for me.
Both are available on Cult Classics Double Feature Vol 6 along with Voyage To The Prehistoric Planet.

Notice the Red Star on the tail fin. Yep. They're Cosmonauts.

Planeta Bur (Planet of Storms). Footage from this has shown up in a lot of low-budget American space films.

I am pretty sure that Soviet (Russian) film director Pavel Klushantsev directed this one. I can't remember the original name of the film but definitely a remake of an old Russian film.

I'm sure by now someone's mentioned that these movies were built around footage lifted from a big-budget Soviet s-f movie. Corman & co. re-edited the original film, shot new footage, and dubbed them to make new stories that looked a lot snazzier than they really were. Notice the red star on the fin of the first rocket.
