I just beat the game again, and I was playing horribly. Crash Man repeatedly killed me in the rematches because I was out of Air Shooter...but eventually I killed him. Then Wily killed me. ;_;

Also, as I defeated the Alien, we were almost completly trading shots, yet I didn't die on him, and I didn't use E-Tanks. And then we die at the same time! :D
...I win...with MM stuck in his Jump-Shoot pose. XD

Honestly, I do think 2 is the easiest. There are a couple of difficulty spikes, but the rest it honestly, quite pathetic to me. Wily is a freaking cheater here, though. >_<

another explanation for why the alien is weak ot the Bubble Lead is because the alien is actually a hologram and Since Bubble Lead is water it can make the hologram machine make short-circuit

Fun fact, the false "over then down then over" is actually a very common trend in the level designs of Mega Man 2 if you look at the stage maps. That may have been part of the reason of inaccuracy, though it was probably just how they designed it.
