  • Nice incubator (GQF type design). A little overkill on the fan motor as it's quite loud. You can get most parts from GQF. I just use a small desk fan motor and blade in mine. A little pan of water with a big sponge in the airstream works just fine for me to take care of humidity all twenty-one days. Sorry didn't mean to jump in like it's my video...

  • what motor did you use to turn the racks? Did you have a timer on it? If so what one? I am looking to build an incubator and this one is great.

  • 40 degrees to either side is adequate for this type of turning. Most commercially made turners are in that vicinity. Humidity is an aspect that I haven't had to monitor to this point. A hygrometer is on my shopping/build list for the next round I do.

  • Hi. Nice incubator, seing this video make have a question, how many degrees should the eggs be turned? If you turn 45 for each side is the same as make a 90 degrees rotation. Is that enough? I read somewhere it should be around 180? Help please. :)

  • do you use water all through out incubation for all 21 days?
