I find this hard to believe. Maybe the Jaguar is tuned or something. The S63 is much more powerful than the Jaguar, and for the comparison to be fair, XJ Supecharged should replace the XFR, or a lighter E63 AMG would replace the S63.
Anyways, that does not change our views on both brands. Mercedes eats Jaguar for breakfast all the time without doubts. End of story...
